Both are across the border, in Croatia. That is not a problem — it is simply something to declare before booking, so the paperwork for a vehicle crossing a border is ready in advance.

You take the car at the airport, sign the contract and leave the 400 KM deposit. No credit card is needed at any step. Payment is in cash.
